Bassel Hassouna, MD, FACC is a board certified cardiologist currently working in Michigan as part of the Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Hassouna graduated from medical school at the American University of Beirut and subsequently did his Internal Medicine residency and his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Hassouna practiced for 4 years in Lebanon before returning back to the United States where he joined the Heart and Vascular Institute in Detroit.
