Introduction:
My name is Bushra Mina, currently functioning as the Chairman of Medicine and Chief of Pulmonary Critical Care Division at Northern Westchester Hospital. Previously, I was the Director of the Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship Program, Section Chief for Pulmonary Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, and Director, Academic and Faculty Development at Northern Westchester Hospital, Northwell Health. I am Chair of Education, and COPD Center of Excellence, Lung Institute at Northwell. I am Professor at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. I have served as a key faculty member in the department of Internal Medicine since July 1995 at Lenox Hill Hospital.
I am a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, European Respiratory Society, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Pulmonary Emboli Response Team (PERT) Consortium, and American College of Physicians. Additionally, I serve as a member of Member, Medical Education Section, Clinical Problem Assembly, Critical Care Section, and Medical Oncology, American Thoracic Society. Fundamental Critical Care Support Task Force, Internal Medicine Section of Society Critical Care Medicine, Non-voting Member of the Internal Medicine Steering Committee, Society Critical Care Medicine, and Co-Chair of Critical Care Clinicians in Practice KEG, Society Critical Care Medicine, and member of Board of Directors of the National PERT Consortium.
