Michael Troy is an assistant professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles. He obtained his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UCLA. He completed his training in general Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine at UCLA fowllowed by an advanced fellowhsip in pulmonary vascular disease at UCLA.
His clinical and research interests include transitions of care for pediatrics patients with PAH, invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary exercise testing, the role of echocardiography in PE and right heart disease, catheter-directed therapy for acute PE, and the role of HIV in PAH.
