Emily is a board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care and is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern. She splits her clinical time between the Cardiovascular ICU where she is part of the ECMO team and the Parkland and Children’s Emergency Departments Her research interests include ECMO in PE, ECPR, RVD in PE and alternative blood products. She enjoys clinical education and procedural teaching. She spends her off time being a mom, doing Cross Fit, cooking, and learning flying trapeze with her husband.
