Dr. Hooks, DO, FCCP, FACOI is a Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Physician at University of Michigan Health West in Wyoming, MI. He serves as the Physician Leader of the Pulmonary Embolism Follow Up Clinic. He has dedicated his career to the study, management , and treatment of pulmonary embolism. His passion focuses on the outpatient management of Pulmonary Embolism and development of PERT programs. Currently he is a national consultant for developing PERT programs and a founding member of the Michigan CTEPH Collaboration Initiatve. His past roles include chair of the Communications Committee, PERT partners key opinion leader, Pulmonary Embolism Research Collaborative thought leader, and Co-Director of the Trainee Bootcamp.
