Dr. Kenneth Rosenfield is Section Head for Vascular Medicine and Intervention in the Division of Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a fellow of the ACC and AHA, and Master of SCAI. He earned an advanced masters degree in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College in 2013. Dr. Rosenfield is a master clinician and interventionalist, who has dedicated much of his career to educating fellows, residents, students, and colleagues. He is well-known for his teaching and mentorship, having created one of the first vascular interventional fellowship programs. He has received the distinguished AHA Laennec Master Clinician award and has been recognized as a Master of SCAI for his significant contributions to interventional cardiology. As a researcher and clinical trialist, he designed and served as national principle investigator for several landmark studies, including Aspire 2, Levant 2, Superb, ACT 1, Surveil, Flare, and the NIH BEST-CLI trial. He has served as president of SCAI and president of the MA Chapter of ACC, concurrently serving on the ACC Board of Governors. Dr. Rosenfield is a founder of VIVA and of the National PERT Consortium, both 501c3 organizations dedicated to improving care and outcomes of patients with vascular diseases. Dr. Rosenfield is an innovator, a leader, a pioneer in vascular intervention, and a mentor to many in this field.
